The federal court system has 3 branches, the US district court, the court of appeals and the Supreme court, however there are also 94 federal judicial districts that handle all types of civil and criminal cases, there is also the international court where international trade issues are tried, (if you will type federal court system into the search bar at the top of the answers page where your question is posted there is a wealth of info on the subject).~
