  1. its like a hip throw but you drop your knees when your back is faced towards him. you drop your knees between his legs so he falls over you.

    It's called Drop Seoi Nagi

  2. Hiza Seoi Nage or Hiza Seoi Otoshi.

All throws have variations.  How you work or apply a throw in real life (or in applications) can vary from a standard method taught in class.  In the standard shoulder throw the thrower remains standing and this is usually an advantage when your opponent ends up on the floor and you don't.

Shoulder throws work well when contestants/combatants are the same height or matched for such.  However, throws encounter problems when your opponent differs a lot in height.  If he is too short you can end in trying to lift him up (slows the action and is inefficient and bad for your back) and if he is too tall he may simply bend at his waist, leaning over you with his feet still firmly flat on the floor.  Sacrifice throws, where you throw down your body weight (in a controlled manner) are especially useful in taking care of this problem.  The sudden pull from the weight of your whole body adds to the force of your throw.  As with all sacrifice throws, for them to work you must retain a firm and close hold on your opponent from the beginning to the end.  If you allow the gap to widen between your bodies you will lose control over his centre and he may successfully counter you.  You lock him to you and drop you weight straight down as a catapult does, to lever and catapult him over you.

In such throws where you drop down, your knee impact with the ground surface needs to be considered.  You don't drop your knees hard on concrete as you'll be more damaged than he.  Also, a dropping onto both knees loses you balance.  As you wheel him over, drop only onto one knee and on one flat foot.  Ensure that most of your weight comes onto your flat foot and not your knee, Your knee touches the ground second and your whole lower leg just presses on the ground.  By kneeling on one knee and curving your body as a small circle within the large one that he is moving in, you will retain greater control over your balance and therefore over controlling the movement of your opponent.  Ensure that you pull with your arms so that he does not fall onto your forward bent projecting knee.  In the preceding movement it is best to not jump or step forward, but go straight down sliding your dropping-knee leg (the one furthest from his held shoulder) rearwards underneath the centre of his mass.

  5. Sounds like a "fireman's carry" in wrestling.  The thrower goes to his knees, but also has a firm hold of the opponents arm/elbow pulling it down and with the other arm, shoots it into a "high crotch" lifting up at the same.

  6. what do you mean?
