I have a rather small bathroom and I would like to put new tile in it. I have picked a tile that has smaller squares but I'm not sure if that would make the bathroom look too small. I kind of would like to put the tile going up the wall too. Would bigger square tiles look better in a small bathroom? Please help??!?

  1. Use 12" tiles for the floor and you can use the smaller ones as a border.

  2. pale coloured tiles as with white paint or off white painted walls would be best, if the room is pink or peach or light in any colour then a pale coloured tile with a small flower or design would be good, anything dark is going to make the room feel smaller .

large tiles are the best and give you less lines on the wall, and less grouting too. cheers peter.

  3. Six by sixes would be fine with a nice border around the middle or near the top but in a neutral color choice.  I wouldn't chose to do the entire walls in a bathroom.  Only the tub/shower or separate tub and shower area and floors.  The walls should be sheetrock and painted to match.  The counters should be granite or marble and the small amount of wall that butts up to the mirror should be the same.
