  1. I work in Rome as Wedding planner ( i am italian) and there they don't do masses in english, but there are some churches where they do masses only in english like Irish church San Patrick near Via veneto and S.Silvestro in San Silvestro square. Then there are many other churches with american priests so even if youwon't have the mass in english at St.Peter's Basilica you can join them anyway!

  2. Strangely, it wasn't that easy to find this information. However, Masses should be held everyday at the following times:

    8.30 am - 9 am - 10 am - 11 am -12 am - 5 pm

They do not hold Mass in English.

However, for further information, you can call these numbers : +39.06.69883712,  +39.06.69885435, +39.06.69883653

  3. 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11 am.  Pope makes a brief appearance from his residence at noon.  There are usually 6 or more masses at any one time throughout the Basilica and one floor below in small areas. They are generally not in English, and they do not involve the pope.
