  1. You can burn it every two days in little little pieces; that will not make/cause much awareness or pollution

  2. You shouldn't  burn any kind of rubbish, for example,if you burn plastic you pollute the air, the same goes for tyres, etc.. . Wood, paper and leaves are OK.

  3. I will call the cops right now

Burning rubbish always adds to air pollution ,what ever time of day or night you do it .

If it is organic ,you should compost it

other stuff can be recycled ,or goes to the landfill

    note on compost http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;...

  4. it's a hard one.

technically, in the day, when the wind is light or blowing away from other properties. bummer, i love a night fire, and the smoke goes straight up better because of the increased temperature differential.

actually, nearly all rubbish that can safely be burned in a domestic rubbish fire can be composted instead. i dont have garden fires any more, i drown perennial weeds and seeding annuals in a bucket for a month or so, use the liquid as plant feed and throw the dead plants in the compost along with other greenery and paper. any wood goes in my burner, but this is the main reason to have a bonfire, to burn diseased prunings.

i would say do what the h**l you like, the worst that can happen is the fire brigade turns up, and they are generally very reasonable unless you are burning car tyres, in which case, hide.
