What time do i put the garter on?

should i put it on before we do the garter removal? because i am thinking if i am wearing it all day that it will fall out... lol. so do i put it right before my groom will remove it? all this is sooooo complicated! thanks!!

I attended 4 weddings this summer and was in two of them and all the brides put them on right before walking down the aisle. I heard one of them complain that it was itchy! I would just wear it down the aisle, especially if you're doing something borrowed, something blue, something old, and something new (most people wear a blue garter and use it as their something blue). You put it on when you put the dress on. It should fit tight enough so that it won't fall down, if you put it up high enough on your thigh! 8)

you should put it on when you put your entire attire on.  the garter is suppose to be little snug so that it wouldnt slip off like a thigh high stockings.  

but you can do whatever you want...but you usually put it on before ceremony.
