What time do the newmarket gallops take place in the mornings?

I want to go down there next Monday to watch (not to pick up tips - I don't understand all that!!)

  2. The new rules state that horses are not allowed out before 7am at the moment due to the dark mornings, but a lot of trainers are disregarding this!

    If you are out from 6-6.30am onwards you will see plenty of horses working.  Most trainers will have finished working the horses by 10am, probably sooner at this time of year.

    The best place to be is the Warren Hill gallop as you will see more horses in a concentrated area.  Racecourse Side is good, but it is so huge you may not see as many horses!

    The Warren Hill gallops are situated on the Bury Road (just past the Clocktowe Roundabout) and Racecourse Side is, obviously, next to the Racecourse!
