What time do you jog in the morning?

I wake up at 6 to jog every morning and i usually see the sunrise while I'm jogging, and i was just curious to see what times you guys woke up to jog?

  1. didnt jog for awhile but when i did id ether do it real early like 4a.m. to 7a.m. or late at night and in the day sometimes

  3. I wake up at 6, too. It's really nice since there's almost no one up at that hour and all you can see and hear is the beauty of nature... well if you aren't living in the city.

COMING FROM A HEALTH PROFESSIONAL, the morning is a horrible time to jog.  Although it does wake you up in the short term, if you adapt a lifestyle where you jog an hour or so after lunch, you will feel much better.  this is because breakfast is called break fast for a reason- you are "breaking the fast" of not eating.

    So when you run before you eat, your muscle degenerates.  See, muscle burns easier than fat, so you end up losing muscle and gaining fat by this.

    Or, if you eat first, you don't have time for your food to settle, and that can upset your stomach and hinder athletic performance; it also causes diarrhea and the food will not digest properly.

    So you should eat well balanced meals, and run around 2 or 3, after lunch.  ALSO, you should stretch good before you run.

    did you know that as well as loosening and increasing flexibility in muscles, it also burns fat, increases muscle and builds muscle strength, and also produces a better quality of blood circulation and oxygen flow, and helps control breathing? the more stretching, the better.

  6. ugh.. i hate jogging in the morning. if i have to it's late evening like 7-8pm. but if i can.. nothing beats jogging at night under the moon light ^^

  8. I started my jogging time around 6 am back when I was just beginning. Recently as college has started back up- I find myself staying up way more late at night, and now I tend to get a later start on my runs. Sometimes I even hit the snooze and put my run off until 11 or 12 at night. I wish I could push myself to keep getting up at 6 am to run- but when I keep staying up working on stuff til 12 or 1 am it's so hard!

    Keep up the good work on those 6 am runs though! Props to you

    I jog likee at around six or seven at night.

    I used to wake up at sevenn.

    But now I dont haha.

    I am glad you do though. I good never get up @ 6 to jog. If I wake up at 6, I am usually 1/2 asleep until like 9.
