  1. the guy before me answered with an excellent train route......

    -------

so i will just give you the directions to Riverside Ice & leisure center

once you get out of the train station do the following:

-walk south down 'Duke street' ( this is the road the train station is on)

-keep walking, when you see 'tindal square' walk round the bend, until you get to 'Waterloo lane'

-walk down Waterloo lane until you see a car park and you will see a part of a water flume, walk round the front and you are at Riverside

    all the best

  2. There is no direct train from Benfleet to Chelmsford. Benfleet Station is on the line from London, Fenchurch Street to Southend and Shoeburyness, whilst Chelmsford is on the line from London Liverpool Street to East Anglia. You can travel between the two by going Benfleet-Upminster, change, Upminster-Romford, change, Romford-Shenfield, change Shenfield-Chelmsford this at 57 minutes past each hour from Benfleet, or direct Romford-Chelmsford at 27 minutes past the hour. Each journey takes I hour 15 minutes. Oddly enough, although the two towns are only about 20 miles apart it will take you longer by bus unless you can catch the Regal Busways Service 1 from Benfleet Station at 50 mins past each hour which takes about 45 minutes for the journey. 3. You need to go to Upminster then to Romford then to Chelmsford no direct trains you can also go to Fenchurch street then go to Liverpool street then to Chelmsford

ALSO you can get a train to Southend Central walk to Southend Victoria then get a train to Shenfield then change there for a train to Chelmsford as Southend Victoria is on the same line as Chelmsford it branches off it. As for getting to riverside leisure centre is is 5 minutes walk from the station on Victoria Road Leave station go down railway street or duke street depending where you leave the station victoria road joins on to duke street walk down victoria road for 5 - 10 minutes and just before you get to the river the leisure centre is there. Hope that helps trains run regularly and the cheapest fare is  ÃƒÂ‚£10.30.
