I found some years ago that there was a 2hole&quot; in the traffic for about five minutes every morning. if i could slot into that I could be in work within 25 minutes. If I missed it it would take as least 45 minutes. I do not know why but it works

It varies between towns, cities and states. Plus it also depends on how far you have to go.

I live 14 miles from my work in the country. If I leave a half hour before I need to be at work, I&#039;m on time or a few minutes late because of traffic.

If I leave 5 minutes earlier, I can beat the rush hour and be at work 15 minutes early.

You need to leave your home different times to get an idea on how long it takes and when the rush is.

It used to be between 7 and 9 am and 4 to 6 pm in most metro and suburban areas...Rural areas really didn&#039;t have traffic congestion problems, since not many people lived in those parts.

Now, with the population in the US exploding and no new highways planned, we&#039;re all piling on to what we have for roads and highways...If a vehicle mishap, construction or just too many vehicles go the same direction, there isn&#039;t enough road to accommodate everybody...So, we sit...And it can happen any hour of any day of the week...Public transit looks more appealing by the minute.
