about 7 and goes bed about 6 am

Hamsters are nocturnal.  My honey is up at around six o'clock in the evening.  She is up all night and makes a lot of noise and then at around breakfast time she is asleep until the evening time.

Most of my hamsters are awake for short periods of time in the late evening but for longer hours after 2am in the morning. However I also have two hamsters who are awake for half an hour for every 3 hours of sleep. So it differs from hamster to hamster.

In theory, hamsters are crepuscular animals which means that they sleep on a pattern of dawn and dusk. They would be asleep for most of the day and few hours of the night but would be active at dawn and dusk.

my hamsters usually woke up around 9 or 10 PM. a good thing to do, what i did, is play with your hamster for an hour before you go to bed.
