What time is "dusk"?

i am not sure what they mean by "dusk"...is that like around 8-9pm?..thanks

Dusk is usually the last hour right before the sun completely sets.  I think it's also known as the "magic hour", because there is an interesting mix of light and darkness, which makes for shadows.  There is kind of a gray and hazy mix to the atmosphere.
