According to the link below, the Total Eclipse will be in Greenland at 9:30 GMT and at 9:40 GMT it will be at 0 degrees longitude then swing past Sweden to the north at 9:50 GMT.

However this site shows the visible eclipse as passing the UK at 10:00 GMT.

Also don't look at the sun, use this cardboard box trick.  I've used a variation of this method so I didn't have wear it over my head.

Another way to see it, if the sun is strong enough, is to watch where dappled sunlight appears in the shadow of a tree.  Each little spot of light will become crescent shaped during the eclipse.
