15:57 GMT,how do you convert that into Central time?

  1. 15 - 6 = 9:57am

    lietell only put the 15:57  into GMT non-military version.  subtract 6 to get the correct time zone :)


  2. You need to subtract 6 hours from GMT to get Central Standard Time in the US, or 5 hours to get Cental Daylight Savings time, which we are in until November.  

    You can check the number of time zones from Greenwich, England to the Central time zone and subtract this from GMT.

    If it is 6 time zones, the time would be 9:57 AM CST or 10:57 AM CDT.

    If you are asking about Cental European Time, you will add the number of time zones (1) to GMT.  That would be 16:57 or 4:57 PM CET.
