  1. Pretty much any hat that'll fit!

A lot of snowboarding helmets have ear flaps designed in and don't have vent holes like bike helmets so they should keep you pretty cosy.

  2. I have a nice NFA beanie that ive had for many years,  it is thicker around the ears like a headband and the rest is quite thin on the top of the head...made for helmets...love it, wouldnt recommend a normal beanie under a helmet...wouldnt give a proper fit and most are designed to be worn without beanies.

  3. Yeah any beanie should fit just fine. your helmet will probably be tighter though with the hat under it. Buy a thinner one. because the helmets have flaps that cover your ears so you should stay pretty warm but im sure a thin beanie will do the trick if the flaps alone don't keep you warm.

  4. I wear a Pro-Tec skull cap.  It uses a moisture wicking material, like a base layer.  It is thin so it fits under your helmet.  If it is extremely cold, I wear an Under Armour cold gear face mask.
