What time of day are jellyfish near the beach?

I am on vacation in hilton head south carolina and I am not sure when jellyfish are most likely to be in the water. I do not want to get stung so can someone help me out?

The time of day really doesn't have a lot to do with it.

They tend to come in with the tide and when the wind is blowing in off the ocean.  When the tide is low and the wind is blowing off the land out to sea, it pushes the jellyfish out to sea.
