  1. We've enjoyed our winters in Rome.

You can read our travelogues online: http://www.thetravelzine.com

Have a great time, whenever you go!

  2. Spring and Fall, even if the temperatures in Rome are fairly mild....

  3. I think the best months to travel to Italy in general are June and September, as the weather is usually beautiful, but a little milder than July and August when it can get pretty hot. Not good if you are traipsing around site-seeing. October can be a good month too, if you are lucky. The weather can be absolutely perfect temperature wise, and Rome is blessed with some spectacular sunsets in that month. They are so beautiful, the Italians even have a specific word for Rome's October sunsets: "Ottobrate". But it can be risky, because it can often rain a lot too.

  4. Unless you definityly need to travel in the summer, don;t!  Rome is crowded with tourists and lines are long.  I find that going frm the end of March through the end of May is nice.  Also the fall through October.  Stay away dunig the times when students and teachers are on vacation.
