  1. Tropical fish don't have a season , however there are some fish such as corydoras that need a drop in temperature and water level to trigger the spawning season which can be reenacted by doing a water change.

Koi carp need the right conditions to breed so it can be fairly difficult to get them to breed. But for the goldfish it would be between spring and summer.

    hope this helps

  2. I will double check, but I believe it is in the spring.

  3. Generally in the spring so the fry can hatch and grow through the warm summer when there is plenty of food and they can grow big enough to survive the winter.

Inside there is generally no seasonal varitions, so they may spawn any time. But playing with the water temperature, like adding fresh cool water to simulate fresh spring rain will often trigger spawning.

  4. There really is no breeding season for fish in captivity. If you want them to breed here is something on koi:

    goldfish:

  5. during the warmer months, so in the spring and summer. in an aquarium, fish can spawn all year round, but in an outdoor pond like you must have, spring and summer are your best bets
