What time of year is it best to go to germany?

I am going to Munich, Germany and I need to know when it's cheaper and what the events are that might be worth paying a little more to fly when it's more expensive...

i would deffinatly say during the winter time, it is so pretty and yes, a little less cheaper. aim for january!!!

Oktoberfest is the biggest event in Munich - if beer and food is your thing, that would be the best time to be there.  However, thousands of people attend that event, so plan accordingly and book in advance.

Be aware that Oktoberfest starts in September.  If you go in October that could be too late.  This year it runs Sept. 20 to Oct. 5.

If beer and partying is not your thing, then that would be a good time to avoid Munich.  Things are probably cheaper at other times.

you should go during Oktoberfest for sure...definately don't go in the summer though.  And it might be too cold in the winter
