What time should I get in line for a Visa at the Italian Consulate in Los Angeles?

I have to go the Italian Consulate in Los Angeles to apply for a Visa. Are there any suggestions on what time I should show up to get in line?

If you arrive by 8AM, you should be fine (parking can be a real hassle, so provide plenty of time for that).

The Visa Section is open Monday through Wednesday, and Friday, from 9AM to12:30PM.  The are located at 12400 WILSHIRE BLVD. # 300 (Between Bundy & Centinela).

Um, my wife went last friday, and people showed up as early as 4am (!!)  She showed up at 9:30 and was not allowed to apply for her visa.  We will try again tomorrow :(

THE OFFICE IS OPEN TO THE PUBBLIC FROM 9:00 A.M. UNTIL 12:30 P.M MONDAY TO FRIDAY.

THE VISA  DEPARTMENT RECIEVES PUBLIC ON THE FOLLOWING DAYS:

MONDAYS, TUESDAYS, WEDNESDAYS AND FRIDAYS (CLOSED ON THURSDAYS)

FROM 9:00 A.M. TO 12:30 PM.

THE CITIZENSHIP DEPARTMENT RECEIVES PUBLIC ON

MONDAYS, WEDNESDAYS AND FRIDAYS FROM 9:00 AM TO 12.30 PM.

so get there early between 7.30 and 8.00 allow yourself traffic time etc.
