Just wondering cause my cousin complained that her friends get to go to bed at like 10-10:30-11 I mean I think that's ok but I'm not her parents so I can't change anything. What time do you think a ten year old who gets up at like 7 go to bed?

  1. probably around nine o clock, depending when you have dinner. If your kids have a snack, they will most likely not be able to properly settle in bed for about 20 minutes. Make sure they dont do any exercising or eating about a half hour before 9 and they will be able to have all the sleep they need

  2. probably 9

  3. Anytime ranging from 9pm to 10 pm is great for a 10 yr old. They get 9-10 hrs of sleep each night, which is beneficial to your growing, etc., and children are in better moods, do better academically, etc.

  4. My kids (ages 11, 10, and 4) go to sleep at 8:00pm.  I want them to get plenty of sleep.  Truth is kids need at least 30 min to calm down before falling asleep.  My 4 year old needs about an hour, so he really falls asleep at 9:00pm, but he is in bed by 8.  If you put a child to sleep at 10:00pm on a weekday that child is not going to get enough rest...neither will you.  I put them to sleep at 8, by 9 they are asleep, and me and my boyfriend have time for us for another hour or so before going to sleep as well.

  5. I have children this age. They have to be up at 630 am. So I put them to bed no later than 9pm. Doctors recommend children this age have at least 9 hours of sleep.

  6. i would say 8-8:30pm at night, thats what time i woke up at when i was 10, im 13 now and i got to bed at 9-9:30pm so i get plenty of rest!

  7. 10:00 that sounds about right

  8. I have a 8yr. and 12 yr. old and they both go to bed at 8:30. This gives them time to settle down for the night. They are asleep by 9. On weekends they go to bed at 10:30, no later.

  9. definitely 10 only if they are going to school the next day on the weekends i think it should pass

  10. 9 pm

  11. No later than 9 p.m.

  12. I think that depends on the child. My daughter is going to be 10 in November and she is up at 7am. I put her to bed at 8 because she seems to need the extra sleep.

  13. It seems like everyone's kids are going to be later and later now adays. You should ask your pediatrion what is right but I would like 8pm on school nights (they can always read in bed) and 9 on weekends maybe 10 for special nights

its hard you have to think what will be healthy for them even though their friends are doing something different.

  14. when my kids was 10 they will go to bed at 9:00 at that age they need 8 hours sleep, plus 1 hr to relax when they get up and another hour to twist and turn before they leave the house in the morning, that's my opinion

  15. 10

  16. No later than 9 PM, they need lot af sleep at this age 9 to 10 hours is optimal.

  17. 10:00. Then she gets a full 9 hours of rest which is what kids her age should be getting.

  18. It's all up to you but when I was 10 and getting up at 7, I would go to bed between 9 and 10. 9:30 is your best best(:

  19. Short answer:  9pm

Long answer, my son is 9 and goes to bed around 8:30/9.  He could go to bed at 11 or later and still pops up like a piece of toast at 6:15 am.

Even on Saturdays and Sundays.  =((  9 is good, you need some time to yourself.

  20. about 9:30 is a good time!!
