  1. You want to be a little bit early...say 10 or 15 minutes. However, don't be too early. It may freak out the director, or worst case scenario: you may be locked out.

Get there in time to be completely ready in plenty of time before warmups or the show!

    Have a great show!

[[Whatever you do, don't be late!]]

  2. The bigger the show, the earlier you must go to sign up.

Most open calls start at 10 I usually get there about 7:30 to be in the middle of the list. To start the list you need to be there crazy early like 6am... that would be best for national tours.

Don't listen to any of these people, they don't know what the h**l they're talking about.

The only time you go to an audition 15 minutes before the time is when it's a private audition or you have have made an appointment. You want to get there 15 minutes before your slot but usually won't audition for another 30, this shows them you're reliable.

But you're talking about cattle calls. The earlier the better. If no one's there when you get there super early, you're the list starter. Create an Unofficial Audition list and put your name as #1. Good luck.

  3. arrive 15-20 min earlier than posted call...that's professional curtesey

  4. I think you should be early,    if there are so many people there, that they are not to you by l,  then you might be sent away,  so be there early,  and be ready to wait,  be dressed the best you can for the part,  and be sure that you are prepared for the comments they have for you .....  But definitely go before 10....  good luck,  hope you get a call back,

  5. bout 30 min. early
