  1. Depends on how far you may have to walk and how fast you walk.  Probably allow ten minutes for every mile.

    10 minutes per mile  that is 6 miles an hour is very optimistic unless  you are very fit. I would  say about 20/25 minutes per mile if you are not going uphill that is three miles an hour is more like it and even that can be going some.

  6. If you live in Birmingham and work in Glasgow, you'd be looking at a good few hours so I'd leave at around 3.00am.

    If you live on Regents Street, London, and work near Piccadilly Circus, I'd allow 5 mins, so would leave at 5.25am.
