I am throwing a slumber party for my 7 year old's birthday. This is the 1st one I have thrown. What is a good time for the girls to come over? What time should they leave the next day? (this party will actually be the 1st day of spring break so the kids don't have school that day. But I don't want to invite them over to early that day as I want to be setting up the house)

  1. They could come around 6 pm and leave around 10 am.

    Isn't 7 a little young for a sleepover?

  2. They should probably come around 7-8 p.m. and leave the next day about 8-9 a.m.  My 1o year old leves sleepovers at about 9 am and starts them about 8 pm the night before!  OR since seven is a little young you could throw a BIG GIRL SLUMBER PARTY like I did and invite children to come at 6 pm and do EVERYTHING they do at "real" slumber parties (except gossip) and the parents come at like 9 pm and pick the kids up.  AND if your kid has a best friend ASK JUST THAT ONE KID to spend the night!

  3. when my son had his sleep over party we had the kids get dropped off at 4:00, I figured 30 minutes for everyone to get there and get settled and mingle a little then we ordered pizza and my husband brought it home at 5:00. Then around 5:30-5:45 we played a game and then did cake and ice-cream and presents. Then we played a few more games. The kids had a movie and popcorn and all that fun stuff. The pick up time the next morning was 10:00am but I wish I had made it 9:00 as the kids were up early and I was ready for them to leave by 9 so it was like an hour wait before parents came.

  4. I would say around 5:30-6pm if you planning on feeding them dinner, and leave around 11 the next morning.

  5. I say between 6 and 7 pm they could arrive. And probably send them home around 11 or 11:30 the next morning! They will probably stay up telling stories and watching movies=) Good Luck with the sleep over=)

  6. I'd suggest having them come over around dinner time...5 pm or so...then arranging for them to leave in the morning around 10 or 11am.  if they spend too much time together they get sick of eachother.

  7. I would say around 6 or 7pm for them to show up. Any earlier and the will get boerd quicker. You figure that they will be up late giggling and such so i would say 11am would be a good time for the parents to pick them up. Have fun!!!

  8. That depends on whether or not you want to feed them supper, how long you want to listen to that incessant giggling that will probably go on, and whether or not the other parents are going to take advantage of your having their kids over to go shopping or otherwise not be available when it is time to send them home
