Question:

What time should me and my sister run in the morning?

Ok I'm 12 years old and my sister is 17. We were thinking to start running around our neighborhood everyday. Here's my question: What time should we start running?

WE WERE THINKING--> 5:30am or 6:00am

Also should we eat before we run or not?

Also what should we eat?

PLEASE ANSWER IN DETAILS.

  1. Wake up at 5:30 and leave for your run at 6, that way you will be prepared and pumped! Eat a light energy snack before you go (I recommend something along the lines of a Nutrigrain bar or a Muesli bar). Definitely don't have a big breakfast though as you might possibly feel sick while running - have a big proper breakfast once your home. Also, drink a glass of water before you leave, and then after your run drink plenty throughout the day to avoid headaches, tiredness and dehydration.

    *Make sure you slowly increase the distance you run each day - don't go straight out and do a huge run which you won't be able to make!*

  2. yea dat's a good tym 2 run but dont eat b4 u run u'll get tired b4 30 minutes!!if you want to eat,eat something light but dont take any liquids lyk water.

  3. You're right on the button. I'm 12 too! The earlier the less cars, and the less crowded the less risk the better. Drink water not before or after but during your excerise it will help you lose weight. Don't eat before but eat a protein bar after or protein powder so you can make some muscle.

  4. 5:30 is a good wake up time to run. 6 is the time you should head out. That way you have time to stretch (stretching is vital before and after running).

    Eat before you go otherwise you will throw up. Eat an energy bar or a granola bar, something light like that. Also take in some liquids before you go so you are nice a hydrated. Don't drink too much though.

  5. I would start at 6:00 just because that gives you a little bit more rest.  I would try to eat a nice large dinner and not eat before and if you do eat before  try some honey since you digest it really fast
