I'd like Nadal to win but wouldn't mind if Gonzalez wins as well.  He could have very well made it to the gold medal match in Athens, and even won the gold.

For the women, Dementieva deserves the Olympic gold and title more than anyone.  She has sacrificed a lot, put up with a lot, had to fight off many challengers, and has lost some finals that should have been hers.  She has been a true example of consistency, professionalism, humility, long-lasting tour force, natural dangerous game, beauty and a friend for everyone.  A true ambassador.  Safina, she is doing great, but sorry, it's just timing and she has just started to rise but has no business winning the gold!  

Dementieva surprisingly made the Olympic gold medal match in Sydney 2000, and eight years later, she is in the same situation again.  Dementieva has never won a slam, perhaps one of the best active players who still doesn't have one, but if she wins the Olympic gold, then her rich talent will be justified and no one can ever take the title and gold away from her just like with Nicolas Massu.  GO DEMENTIEVA!!!
