  1. Brazil is in 3 different timezones: GMT +3, +4 and +5.

    Most of the Brazilian territory is in GMT +3, though, including Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Brasília and most large cities. There's only one State in GMT +5 (the State of Acre).

    That changes in Daylight Savings Time ("Horário de Verão"), but right now we're following standard GMT +3 time.
