Question:

What time zones are the flight times in?

This is what my flight schedule says from the travel company.

SYR (10:00) > OHR (11:30)

OHR (17:30) > CDG (8:30)

CDG (13:20) > MXP(14:50)

ROM (7:20) > CDG (9:30)

CDG (13:15) > OHR (15:20)

OHR (19:10) > SYR (21:55)

Now, for each of these times, what time zone are they in?

NOTE:

I am in the SYR time zone,

OHR is -1 from SYR,

CGD, MXP, and ROM are all in Europe, and they are all +6 from SYR.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  1. All arrival and departure times are in the time zone of the arrival/departure city.

  2. The times are usually where the airport is located.

  3. all of them

  4. all of those times mean that when you arrive there it will be that time in that place so you don't have to figure it out yourself. on monday i had a flight and since i went back a time zone and it was shorter than an hour, it said i fly out at 8:45 and arrive at 8:40

  5. i have absolutly no idea wat you are talking about but i can try. are those states? cause if they are then i rly dont know. ok it seems that this is in military time. my suggestion would be to take a watch and ask ppl wat time it is. hope i helped!!! :)

  6. they are in local time, to where they are located

you leave Syracuse at 10:00 am and arrived back in Syracuse 9:55 pm

  7. Time zone of the place you arrive :) (each one)

  8. Flight departures are typically given in the local time and the arrival time is typically given in local time as well.  If you are crossing time zones, a 4 hour flight may actually look like a 1 hour flight based on departure and arrival times on the ticket.

Based on your example, if MXP is SYR +6, you are actual landing in MXP at 20:50 SYR time.  Your total trip to MXP will take 10h50min but only 4h50min based on the local times.

That's why they call it jet lag.  You'll be in MXP in the middle of the afternoon but it will fell like late evening.

  9. All the times of the actual times in the city that you're flying in or out of...

SYR is Eastern Time, and whatever time zone each city is in, is the actual time there...
