  2. Lights starts to fade at about 8:30. By 10, there will only be a faint light, and by 12, it will pretty much be pitch black.

  3. Where i live (vancouver) its about 9:30..or 10:00 in the middle of summer the sun will be pretty much completly gone.

  5. It depends where you are in Canada.  Where I am right now it won't get dark at all again until early September.  The sun shines all night - makes it very hard to sleep.  In southern Canada it gets dark by about 9:30 when the days are longest.
