What tips for taking dramatic self portraits? (examples would be great.)

thanks so much guys. I'm still trying to take a good picture of myself...one that doesn't disgust me. lol!

  1. Do you have a place in your house with mirrors on the closet doors?  If so, then take a small stool and set the camera up in there with a long timer.  Then you can have some time to arrange yourself in front of the mirror the way you want before the camera snaps.


  2. My type of dramatic includes lots of light, angling and facial expression And the lips. XD

    :] I was sitting on a window sill, and it was sunny, which gave me a nice lighting.

    Also, if your camera can switch modes (like auto, twilight portrait, landscape, ect) then I would recommend  soft snap. It focuses on you, and gives a soft background.
