What to Buy for My New Apartment?

Question

I'm moving to an apartment in a couple of months, and I'm trying to think ahead a bit.

I'm just looking for suggestions on things to buy. I've made a long list already, but I'm sure I've forgotten some things.

Feel free to write down anything, even if it seems obvious. I also wouldn't mind any inventive ideas.

but if you work thought it room by room it makes it easier

Living Room :

couch, electronics, tv stand, coffee table, book shelf, candles, curtains and curtain rods (not all apartments supply the rods) pictures to hang on the wall, a rug, lamps...

Kitchen :

Dishes, pots, pans, cooking utensils, silverware, coffee pot, canisters, pot holders, oven mitts, microwave,  paper towels, food =)

Bathroom :

shower curtain, towels, toiletries, candles, a night light (comes in handy in the middle of the night) a bath mat

Bedroom :

Bed, bedding, night stand, alarm clock, dresser, clothes...

Misc :

light bulbs (sometimes you get lucky and they've left you with some that still work, but more often than not.. you'll have to buy some)

a vaccuum, broom, and other cleaning supplies

I love beautiful wall fountains!I think they bring a bit of elegance to any area, I got mine cheap online, they wher more stunning than the pictures.

Things not yet mentioned...garbage cans, garbage bags, toilet paper, paper towels, fan

i just moved in to a apartment....ima guy so i kinda took the bacholer look i have

living room: recliner, bean bag, flat screen w/ stand, laptop, internet, lamp, rocker chair, estimated total $1700 plus bill

Kitchen: pots, pans, dining table, 2 chairs,(target $80) food for a week cups, plates, spoon, forks, cleaning supplies estimated total $250 alot of hand me down

Bed Room: Bed pillows night stand with tv estimated total hand me down

Bath room: towels, floor mat, hand towel, shower curtain, (75$ target)

not alot of stuff it adds up fast hjahah
