What to be when I grow up? Biology?

I want to be a wildlife biologist or a marine biologist.

But I love under the water animals just as much as land animals.

Is there any thing where I can be with both of them?

And learn/study them?

Not just under the water and not just land..

But both?

What is it called?

Thanks!

  1. A marine biologist may be your best bet. You could study species that utilize intertidal ecosystems. You would deal with underwater and land animals. As far as the pay goes, it depends on your level of education and who you work for. The marine biologists I know make ~$80,000 per year...they are senior scientists however.

Right now I would recommend learning about everything you find interesting. When you get to college, work with scientists who's research interests you. Over time you will figure out what you are most passionate about.
