What to bring on a flight ?

im goin to turkey nxt month and ill be on a 4 hour flight any ideas on what to bring ???

MP3 player an some mags, sorted!

Check the size of bag you can take and max weight - don't end up repacking your suitcase at the airport becaus you've got too much handlugage.

Obviously passport, ticket, insurance (leave a photocopy of insurance and main pages of passport with someone at home)

Phone number for the place where you are going / tour operator/ homer contact if you don't know it

Some English money to use at the airport / holiday money

I'd suggest taking an MP3 / book / magazine.

Tissues

Any medications that you take/medical equipment (e.g. diabetic kit) - check before with airline that this is OK and that it is OK to take these into Turkey without a doctor's certificate (some medications are not treated the same in all countries) - ideally all the stuff you will need for the whole trip in case your suitcase is lost

Camera

I also suggest fresh fruit / crisps - i prefer this cold stuff to the meals they serve - you might need to eat it all before you enter the country / throw it away due to customs so don't take too much

One set of underwear (in case your case gets lost)

What NOT to take

valuable jewellry/ watches if you are just going on a beach/normal holiday (perhaps different if its a wedding - keep small valuables with you in hand luggage)

something to occupy you.. there is nothing worse than being sat doing nothing on a flight..

so e.g:

-an mp3 player

-a handheld games console

-magazines

-books.

something to eat and drink, u can get that after check in or on the flight, but get somethng to eat!

and 4 hours isnt to long, try and sleep, its a much easier flight when your asleep lol..
