What to bring to Cancun?

Question

All I need is a list of some things that I might need to bring or consider bringing on my trip. I would rather not be wishing I had brought this or that the whole time I'm there.

Anyone with experience traveling or someone who has been to Cancun would be very helpful.

Please exclude any essential items (money, swimming trunks, toothbrush). I think I can handle stuff like that lol.

Honestly all I bring is what you listed.

A camera, sunblock, sunglasses, hat, passport AND copy of passport in case you lose it (it's also good to make sure someone at home has a copy just in case), flip flops, clothes to go out in, exclude jeans and regular shoes/socks...I always pack them and never wear them!  If you're worried about stomach problems you can ask your Dr. for some Cipro or something like that, it will clear it up in a day or so.  If you want to rent jet skis or body boards on the beach you might want to bring goggles bc the salt water will blind you!  (Not literally but it hurts.)  

This is off topic but you should swim with the dolphins!  It might sound cheesy but it was honestly one of the coolest things I've ever done!  You can usually set up appointments with the activity people in the lobby.  Have fun!

- Inflatable floating device

- Comfy flip flops (that is ALL you will wear)

- NO shoes or socks!

I always take a pair of candles, sometimes the rooms tend to smell, musty.. then I always leave them there..

remember to bring spare sunglasses & suntan lotion as well. Also  make sure to tip the maids you get better service as well.
