What to bring to and what to buy in leon, Spain?

I'm going to spain for 7 weeks this summer to study and need ideas for little gifts to bring home, i don't want to spend all my money on worthless stuff so anyone who has been or has suggestions, that would be great.

Buy something that the people will use! Pratical stuff like a shirt, try to stay away from keychains -- I got some for my friends at the Eiffel tower and they don't use them >.<
