I'm going on a trip to San Diego tomorrow. What should I bring on the plane to keep me busy? The flight is about 3ish hours long. I have already decided to bring my iPod and a book. I'm sixteen, so I don't really like GameBoy and stuff like that. Any ideas? Thanks!

  1. Just what you have in mind will be enough.  I recently came back from L.A.   and the flight was good with a book.  Enjoy your stay.

  2. Good luck, and enjoy your flight.

As far as what to do, this question is asked very frequently on here (you're the 8th person in the past 48 hours), so you might want to look for those other questions - most of them have some very good suggestions.  Most of them also have me griping at them for asking the same question over and over, but I'm trying to be nice now.

  3. 3 hours isnt to long [ i had a 10 hour flight from washington to cancun and another 10 back]

all I brought was my ipod, 1 magazine, and a book and I was entertained most of the time.  But usually the airplane will play a movie or you can also sleep.

  4. There's not much to do on the plane. Just bring music, a book, or a magazine that you like. Some people bring games like Sudoku or crossword puzzles. If you have a cell phone, you can turn the connection off and then you should be able to play around on your phone. Last time, I also brought some snacks, like Twizzlers. Have fun!

  5. gossip mags!!! ok!, people, us weekly

  6. You seem to have enough to keep yourself entertained. You could also get a few magazines or puzzles such as soduku in the airport shops if you are interested in that kind of stuff. I like to bring a deck of cards to pass time if I'm travelling with someone. Just remember that you cant listen to your i pod while the plane is climbing or descending (im not too sure why though!) but don't worry because you will be able to listen to it when the plane reaches its cruising altitude, the flight crew will tell you when its safe to turn it on!!!

    Enjoy your trip!

  7. you are all set. I used to live in San Diego,  I never did like looking out the window as the plane landed. It's kind of unnerving.

  8. you should take a a pen and paper so you can draw and  write a note you should also bring a camra so you could take pic when ur up there
