What to buy in France?

What is the thing that are cheap in France? I mean things that may be expensive in other countries, but cheap in France (perfume for examples) And what else?

And what is the meaningful souvenirs to buy for France after the vacation to France? I would like something to be memorable but at the same time, at a reasonable price. Cuz I got quite a lot of friends.

  2. I bought for me and my friends: perfume, soap, chocolate, bonbons and cheese - France has a wonderful variety !

    Ah....and small "sachets" with lavender...they are not heavy and they smell so nice - my Mom really loved them.
