What to buy when moving into a new home?

So my boyfriend and I are buying our first home. We have stuff we have bought over the years and put back for a house. But I know we are forgetting stuff. So I was wondering if anyone could list some of the things they remember buying when they got their first home. It would help so much. Thanks in advance!

lightbulbs.

Our newly constructed house did not come with any lightbulbs. the day of our closing, we had to run to Walmart and buy about 65 lightbulbs

Furniture, linens, and kitchenware tend to be first on lists, but everyone thinks of those.  Don't forget the hum-drum basics like vacuum, broom, etc. Also, if your b/f doesn't already have 'em, tools: screwdrivers, wrench, hammer.
