What to charge for interior painting

Hi all. I own a cleaning company, and with these hard times i am starting to deversify a little here and there. My question is i have a client that has asked if we could paint a rental property they have. It is a 1600 sq.ft. 2 story home. About 1000 sq.ft. paintable, 2 coats, 1 paint color (white), medium grade washable paint,the place is empty. I will be using 3 employees for the job. Should i bid by the hour, or by sq.ft ? And how much.

in your case bid by the hour what ever you charge by the hour per person (not by what you pay them)  have the property owner buy the paint on their account, they will likely get a little better deal than you unless you buy alot of paint.
