  1. Go to this site maybe it would help!

    http://playpianoeasy.blogspot.com/

  2. What do others charge?  Do your market research and promote yourself as to what you have to offer to your clients.  Have fun and make it fun!

  3. So much of it depends on where in the country you live. In my area just living 15 miles away means you could charge more! Location is key.

Do some investigating to see what others in your area are charging for piano lessons. Try to find information for teachers with their Bachelors in Music - Piano Performance or Piano Pedagogy. You will want to set your fees somewhat lower than there's, but advertise that you have a Music Degree. You do not have to put "Vocal Performance" but could advertise "Bachelor of Music" and that you give both voice and piano lessons. (Good for you, these are the two most sought after lessons!) And remember not to set your prices too low or you will attract the wrong type of student who will abuse your policies and not respect you as a teacher.

If you do not already have a website, definitely get on the web. There are some great free sites like www.freewebs.com that have music-related templates.

    Best wishes!

  4. $50/hr

    $25/half hr

Maybe more since you're going to their house.
