What to do, what to do...?

My bf has hinted upon numerous occasion that he wants to marry me. I'd like to say yes, but just wondered (no facetious answers, please) what are the things I should look for that indicate that he's ready for marriage? How long does it take to plan a wedding?

if hes depressed, doesnt have any friends, doesnt like having fun anymore, has no sense of humor or any reason to live, then hes ready to get married.

Well after being engaged once that failed and seeing my brother engaged twice before finally finding the one...the best advice I give is to find someone you are happy with.Someone you can't imagine life without, someone you can 100% be yourself with, someone with whom you can share all your hopes and dreams and fears and well everything. And of course someone who not matter what will stand by you and support you in everything and visa-versa. Because if you two really connect and stand by each other and make a great team it will get you through anything. Most people would say find someone with a great job and car and house and c**p but that stuff can come and go so easily with today's economy...you two need to be able to weather what ever may come your way. And as far as how long it takes to plan a wedding all depends on how big you want it...it could take a couple of months for a really small one or up to a year or two for the really big ones and also it depends on you too. Don't try to rush and get stressed out...a lot goes into a wedding . Well hope I could help and best of luck!!!!
