Question:

What to do about a rash?

I just noticed today that my little guy has a rash on his neck, right underneath his chin. I know it's from him sweating and drooling constantly(he's teething), but wears a bib. I put some rash cream on it(Johnson and Johnson 3 in 1) and am thinking about using some powder as well.

Any other things that may help this clear up quickly?

  1. HI! anything with a zinc oxide base will help Noah clear up his rash...zinc oxide is a great skin barrier and protectant.....I use it on my patients bottoms at my work place (im a nurse assistant) and it prevents skin damage as well as heal rashes or wounds......and if you have desitin or some sort of diaper rash cream its bound to be the leading ingredient. Try putting some under his little chin and watch it clear up. however, if it doesnt clear you may need to call and get it seen by a doctor as it could be a yeast infection.

    hope this helps!

  2. i used to put a thin layer of vasaline on my babys chin and neck while he was feeding and teething try that.

  3. daktozin...fantastic stuff ... my 2 yr old gets rashes on her chin like that from drool when teething... one application and its gone... pharmacy sells it in a tube for bout 7 dollars...contains anti fungal which is usually caused from being damp all the time...

  5. There is a diaper rash cream called Butt Paste and it worked for my son.

  6. Get a crush on vitamin C. Applying a lotion of crushed vitamin C tablets and water directly on skin may cure many rashes because of the vitamin's antioxidant qualities,"In fact, some cosmetic moisturizers brag that they have vitamin C in them, but the concentrations are usually so low that it's probably degraded even before the consumer buys it,

  7. Aveeno rash cream works
