What to do about acne problem?

Since I was a teenager I have had acne problems up and down the wall. I have tried top of the line treatments and nothing has worked. I have gone to the doctor and been prescribed medicine and it helped a little. Makeup wise I use Bare Minerals and Cornsilk loose powder. I am not a rich person and forking over 25 dollars for foundation was hard for me. The only reason I did it is because I read that it is the best makeup for bad skin........well I am still breaking out. My face has now started itching for reasons I have no clue. I am at the end of the road here. Anyone out there that is going/gone through this, what cleansing routine and makeup do you use? Thank you for your time!

  1. Did you try Proactive acne products?   Also, avoid greasy foods and chocolate.   It is not a myth that these foods cause acne.

  2. Buy some  Cod Oil and take em as if they were medicine (swallow it with water)  after you have dinner once a day and before you go to bed rub baby powder on your acne, because you wouldn't wanna walk around with a powdered face looking silly lol. It'll take a couple of weeks but you will see a change. Trust me this works... You say Cod oil will make ACNE worse but its actually good for you and your skin... Trust me it works.

  3. You might be allergic to makeup...?

  4. Oh No! STOP USING BARE ESCENTUALS NOW! This is your problem and it is what is causing the ITCH! I am a professional makeup artist and skin care specialist, I know a lot about chemicals in skincare and what they do. This is why you need to stop the BARE ESCENTUALS RIGHT AWAY!.................

    1) They basically LIE. They say they are pure minerals- THEY ARE NOT. They use a cheap filler called BISMUTH OXYCHLORIDE which is not a actual mineral but A METAL that has been processed with copper and tin. This ingredient is a skin IRRITANT and well known to cause ITCHING, RASH, and in some cases CYSTIC ACNE! This ingredient is not good for your skin and many others are allergic to it too (just google bare escentuals bismuth oxychloride itch-there are pages of people who had bad reactions to it.

2)They say they are natural with no preservatives- NOT TRUE! They use chemical parabean preservatives in their mineral veil and other skin care formulas

3)They use cheap fillers (cornstarch-more irritation) and of course bismuth oxychloride

4)They are overhyped and charge A LOT for nothing (their makeup ingredients are cheap)

5)They are way to shiny, leave you greasy looking and wear off by the afternoon

What I do use on myself and my clientele and why............

    I use Faerie Organic Minerals..............

1)They are natural with NO PRESERVATIVES, NO CHEAP FILLERS, NO METALS, NO BISMUTH OXYCHLORIDE,

2)They use a EXPENSIVE high end ingredient called BORON NITRIDE which is known to HELP ACNE due to its antibacterial properties, it is also known to be a skin soother and protector, this ingredent is what sets mineral companies apart as this ingredient is amazing on the skin.

3)Their makeup is light, airy, has great coverage, covers redness amazing, photographs well you don't feel it on, it lasts all day. Never greasy, cakey, powdery, orangey, itchy etc

    4) Even with the expensive high end ingredients it is still more affordable than bare escentuals

5)They have great natural skincare (especially for acne) that has done wonders on even some pretty horrible cases of acne, combined with their makeup you can see a major difference

6)They have FREE sample kits! (you just pay shipping like $5.99)

You really need to try the samples as I know you will see the major difference between bare and faerie. Not to mention your acne will get better and your face will stop itching. You can see their site here.......http://www.faerieorganic.com
