Work Retail over 50 work load is changing in retail and they feel the older ones will not be able to keep up.

  1. Discrimination is illegal, go to the EEOC (Equal Employment Opportunity Commission) and see what rights you have and what course of action to take.


  2. Employers are not allowed to discriminate against you because of your age or the perception that you can't do a specific job.

    You didn't mention what kind of discrimination--were you fired? Not promoted? Demoted? Any of those things might be classified as a discriminatory act, especially if they told you it was because you were over 50 and can't do the job.
