What to do about an overdue book?

I took a summer school course this month, and the course ended last week. Well I procrastinated and forgot to return the book.I just realized that today was the last day that the school is opened for the remaining time of the summer holidays. Do you think they'll still accept the book back In mid September when they open back up? What would happen if I just kept the book and do not pay the fee?

Just bring it back at the start of term and pay the fine. There's not much else you can do.

Return the book when the store opens back up.  Suck it up and pay the fine.  You forgot to return it, deal with it.

Contact the summer school and ask them how and when you can return the book.Even if you have to leave a msg on the answerphone, they will know you have made an effort.

Return it when you get back.  If you don't pay, they may withhold your grades (meaning the classes you took will be no credit until they get the book or are paid).
