  1. Use Raid Double Control Ant Baits. These are awesome. So easy to use. Just make sure your cat doesn't play with it because in time it will be covered with ants. The baits are little plastic black things. All you have to do is place them where the ants are the most. Trust me, this will work.

  2. Use a mix of cinnamon and sugar and sprinkle it here and there. The ants will come and pick up the sugar, along with the cinnamon, and take it back to their queen. Ants can’t digest cinnamon and once the queen dies from not being able to digest the cinnamon the colony will die without her.

  3. baby powder works but not really. use insect powder. works the besttt!!!

  4. there are traps with holes just big enough for ants to fit in

    and its poison

they take it to their nest and have everyone eat it, and then they die

i don't think your cat can die from that

  5. I'm sure you can get your house sprayed or something.. your cat can stay with one of your friend's or something right?

  6. Make them fight each other by getting two big ones and cutting off their antennas. Next, you put them next to each other and they will start attacking and tada you have yourselves a fight.

Or you can dip a stick in honey and pick a bunch of ants and then light them on fire!!

Haha just kidding, but seriously you should buy traps or spray them with some kind of substance that you'll find at your local Lowes.

  7. dont take food out of eatting area and do some cleaning and spray where you see ants coming out

  8. Ant traps won't harm your cat.  They're about the best method to get rid of them.   The only other way you may want to try is to fumigate the house with 'ant bombs' - the same fumigators that are used for getting rid of fleas in the house.  Raid makes 'ant hotels' and they're harmless to people and pets.

  9. There is a spray out on the market now that is Eco-Friendly. The name of the brand is EcoSmart and it uses prganic plant oils from plants like: peppermint oil, rosemary oil, wintergreen oil and more. I bought a can of this stuff the other day because we have a BAD sugar ant problem and one spray and that was it. If you do get this, be sure your room is well ventialted because although its not toxic (like Raid, etc) the Wintergreen oil dominates.

The product is NON TOXIC and organic.  It will not harm pets or children.  See the PDF file link below and it gives a better description of the product.

You should be able to pick it up at your local Wal-Mart, thats where I got mine...

Cheaper than a pest control company!!!!!  Costs about $6 fgive or take for a can.
