What to do about condoms hurting me?

Question

Ive noticed, whenever i have s*x ,condoms hurt me.Is that normal for a female? Is there a brand of condom that will not hurt so much?

I have been using drug store condoms, i don't know the brand, Trojan i think . Is it because i am using a cheap brand?

I know these are a lot of questions , but i refuse to have s*x without a condom.

you probably need to use a lubricant with it, just make sure that whatever one you get is compatible with the latex condom. KY makes several that work

Might be allergic to latex (what they make the condoms out of) or the lube on it (use KY) try a brand not made of latex and use KY

try a non latex condom. you may not be allergic to latex but a lot of people are irritated by. if a nonlatex condom still hurts then I don't know how to help you...maybe you could really coat it in lube to reduce friction

Latex can be the problem.  Try using a non-latex condom.  Lamb Skin feels great.. .but a little expensive good luck!

I used to have the same problem. I was allergic to the latex on the condoms. You can use a non latex or sometime the lamb skin works well. Next time you go to the gyno ask them what they have that is non latex. When I discovered that I had this problem I went to planned parenthood, since I was still a teen, and they gave me a wide variety of condoms. They definitely helped.

I DO NOT recommend KY unless you are older and have a problem getting "wet", your body can build up a dependency on the KY and take away your natural ability to lubricate. KY is not recommened for peope who do not have this problem. If you need lub, use spit, it is the best and most natural substitute. Sorry if that sounds gross but it's true.
