  1. You are going to get a lot of crazy answers on here, your best bet is to contact her pediatrician. I know that is probably not what you wanted to hear, but when it comes to a newborn baby there could be an allergy to milk/formula or another problem that some of the answers you'll get here could make worse. Good luck to you.

  2. I called my baby's doctor this morning about the same problem and he told me to give him half an ounce of prune juice (DILUTED) and it worked like magic...

  3. Are you breastfeeding or formula? Breastfed babies hardly ever get constipated and at 2 months was when my little guy stopped having a bowel movement every day. As long as she is not crying/pushing, she may not even be constipated.

  4. rub the babies stomach from top of stomach to bottom

  5. My doctor told me to put a small amount of karo syrup in her bottle

  6. Does she seem to be straining to have a bowel movement? It isn't abnormal for a baby to go this long without one. My little one use to go every other day...if she does become constipated, you can add about an ounce of prune juice to her bottle, but that's it, it takes a while to kick in so you don't want to give her more than that...if you are breastfeeding, you could prob do a half an ouce of juice and half an ounce of water..you don't want her to get full on it.

  7. I'd give it at least another 24 hours before "intervening" - right now, since she isn't in any pain/discomfort she's not necessarily constipated.
