What to do about heredity dry hair?

I've inherited my dad's side of hair.But mine is really terrible beyond word.It is very thick,lifeless and no matter what I do,it will just hung like a limp mop.Whenever i wash my hair,the next day,it will be very frizzy and look even more thick!Everyday is just bad hair day for me,rebonding and all that don't even help to keep my hair looking "normal".what can i do?thanks!

I also have dry hair and skin from my mother's side.  One trick I have learned is to use olive oil as a conditioner, but also - it is important to use a very good quality shampoo.  Whenever I use cheap shampoo, I can count on a bad hair day.  Nexxus Botanoil was like a miracle for my hair.  That and a great cut that suits the texture of my hair. Stay away from Suave, VO5, Pantene and Pert.  I know I'll never have long, lush hair so I got a great short cut that makes my hair look healthier.  I think if you try a quality shampoo, you will be pleasantly surprised!




  2. You can try this. Beat an egg in a cup of milk.When it foams, rub it into the scalp.Leave it on for 5 minutes.
