What to do about long labia?

About a year ago the guy I was dating told me that my labia were longer than almost any girl he'd ever slept with (and he'd been with quite a few girls). He also told me it was gross and stuff. Since then I've gone to many websites and discovered that my labia are "normal," and my gyno even told me she would not have noticed if I hadn't pointed it out.

Unfortunately, I still cannot get over this issue. I am embarrassed to ever let a man see it again. I am fairly good looking in other aspects so I feel like I will be thought of as a disappointment the next time a man sees me. I often wonder what is underneath my friends' clothes. I wonder if I'm the only one who has longer labia. I have thought about getting surgery, but I don't have the money and it sounds painful as well. I just don't know what to do about this. Any suggestions?

There is NOTHING wrong with you. Find a guy who will appreciate and love what you have and never put it down.

Ehm... theres nothing you can do. I have been with several girls with the alien-tentical hamburger lips..... I mean ... i'm not gonna lie... its not much fun swimming through a curtain of roast beef...but if you find a good guy he won't care... plus its never gonna stop a guy from having s*x with you anyways.

helpful tip... try to spread them with your fingers as much as possible when youre undressed with a guy... it makes it less noticeable if you don't let them hang so much... plus its hot as h**l anyways and drives us guys wild.

thats weird cause i have heard that men really like long labia, espicially if its the inner labia that are long, because it is more overtly sexual

No you're definitely not the only one! I see women on here all the time with long labia. And your gynaecologist is really the one who is going to know if you're normal or not.

That guy is a freak and was probably just trying to hurt you. Please get over it - otherwise he wins! Loads of guys like girls with longer labia. There are whole web sites dedicated to them, and I've seen a lot of guys here post about how they like them, and how it looks more real than the tucked in one in p**n. Some don't like them much, but it would take such a jerk to mention that. But don't let it get to you, it's your body so be proud of it!

Short of surgery there is not much you can do about fixing them, and as you know surgery isn't such a great idea. Hopefully the next guy  you sleep with will be much nicer and not say anything! I know it will be a difficult step if you are shy, but you should do it sometime and it will probably be ok!

Your guy was the one with the problem...

I have long labia, they show quite a bit when I stand up, and my boyfriend loves them! I have come across several other men who have loved that too. Believe it or not, not all men like that neat, tucked in look. Maybe your ex had been watching too much p**n is all I can say. My boyfriend hates that look, he likes larger labia because he says it looks 'rude' and he likes that you can see the outline with panties on...

Believe it or not, plenty of men have quite a fetish for women with larger labia. My boyfriend would be put off by the kind of vaginas your boyfriend obviously liked - it takes all sorts and all tastes. You are normal, it is attractive, and he is the one with the problem.

The next one you meet is just as likley to be overjoyed you have a bit more down there. My boyfriend likes playing with mine, and there are plenty of other men who find it hot. I am so lucky my sexual experiences were with guys who liked it - I feel confident about it, but you really should too.

Try typing large labia into the internet minus safe search - PLENTY of men like them.

Surgery isn't a good idea, as it would leave you with some scar tissue and possible numbness.
